Im just going to jot down some ideas i have for my MLP generation / Next gen here.

Mane 6
- AppleJack - Grandma Died, Either took over the farm and spiraled down into depression and always being exhausted, or ended up staying at the cherry farm, running from the truth.
- Rarity - Parents died, leaving her to take care of sweetie bell alone to where she can no longer devote herself to designing clothes. OR her business took off, and she was invited to move her shop to Canterlot to work with Hoity Toity and fancy pants.
- Fluttershy - Ends up never reverting from her bully phase, and ends up becoming a giant jerk. OR She ends up moving into the forest, becoming a hippie.
- Rainbow Dash - Ends up adopting Scootaloo and they both end up moving up to cloudsdale where Rainbow works at the weather factory in order to support her new "daughter" or She ends up staying at the wonderbolts school, eventually becoming a wonderbolt and the new instructor, due to spitfire injuring her wing doing a dangerous stunt.
- Twilight Sparkle - Due to princess Celestia becoming very ill due to unknown causes, Twilight now has to be a princess full time, leaving her friends behind to tend to the royal duties and to keep things in line.
- Pinkie Pie - Ends up becoming depressed due to all of her friends leaving her, so in the end she goes back to her family and working on the rock farm.
CMC (( Teenage Years ))
- Applebloom - Helps AppleJack/BigMac on the farm when it comes to construction, she rarely sees her friends anymore due to this and dealing with the grief of loosing her grandma
- Babs Seed - Continues to get bullied, so in the end she becomes the bully.
- Sweetie Belle - Ends up being noticed for her beautiful voice and ends up signing up with some hotshot pony, who becomes her agent. She now sings in various clubs and bars.
- Scootaloo - Her wing got broke due to an accident while riding her scooter, therefore she can never fly again, which sent her into a deep depression.
Background Ponies
- Big Mac - Either Ends up taking care of the apple farm since granny smith passes away, or he ends up only tending to apple tree harvesting since Applejack runs the rest of the farm. He also has started drinking away his depression.
- Cheerilee - She ends up being raised from teaching fillies to teaching College students, where she Ends up becoming annoyed with her students over the years, becoming an alcoholic to try and cope with her stupid students.
- Photo Finish - Over the years, another photo star rises and photo finish is nothing but something of the past. Unable to find work, she ends up posing and shooting lewd photos, since no one else would be willing to hire her.
- Derpy Hooves - The doctor wiped her memory of him completely, though it pained him. But it would of killed her if she continued to remember him. Afterwards, she stayed in ponyville with her children, continuing to be a mail mare, though she occassionally has dreams of a colt in a blue box.
- Flash Sentry - Due to Shining Armor moving to the Cyrstal kingdom with his wife, Flash sentry quickly moved up in the ranks, becoming the new general of the Royal army. He is mainly seen standing guard around Twilight sparkle, seeing as she is his future wife.
- Soarin - Ends up living with Rainbow dash and Spitfire, he has grown to crush on Rainbow dash, seeing as they work together a lot now a days.
- Spitfire - Due to a dangerous stunt, her left wing was broken beyond repair, so she is unable to fly anymore, causing her to go into a deep depression where she tries to use alcohol to try and cope. She moved in with Rainbow Dash and Soarin to seek help getting around, and to try and sober up.
- Princess Cadance - Ends up running the Crystal kingdom full time. She always tries to be happy around everypony else, since the crystal kingdom thrives on love, though she herself is misserable.
- Princess Celestia - Ends up becoming Terminally ill and can barely get around, no one knows the exact cause for this illness, but she has put Twilight sparkle in charge of things due to her being so weak.
- Princess Luna - She ends up isolating herself in her room most of the time, unable to face the fact her sister is dying slowly. She is also angered at the fact that her sister chose Twilight to take over instead of her, becoming resentfull and angry at her sister and twilight. Thus, this caused her to revert back to nightmare moon, retreating to a far part of equestria to form her own Kingdom and city.
- Fancy Pants - Ends up in a relationship with Rarity(?)
- King Sombra - Returns due to not being 100% destroyed, residing in a far part of equestria to regain his strength, where a small group of ponies have caught wind of Sombra's return, coming to join his legion. Sombra is now king of a small city, but he hopes to one day take over the Crystal kingdom again.
- Shining Armor - Ends up becoming the Captain of the Royal army in the Crystal kingdom, and forming a guard system there.
- Trixie - Returns to Ponyville and runs a Magic Shop.
- Sunset Shimmer - On the night when the mirror opens up, sunset shimmer returned to Equestria and travelled to Canterlot, to see twilight sparkle. She now works at the royal castle as a magic teacher, teaching other ponies on how to master their magic.
- Diamond Tiara (( Teenage Years )) - Ends up becoming a supermodel who works for Photofinish before she ends up going downhill.
- Featherweight (( Teenage Years )) - Works with Photofinish before things go downhill
- Pipsqueak - Ends up going to Princess Luna's city/kingdom, becoming her assistant and her deciple.
- Pound Cake (( Filly )) - Goes to school with his sister, and works with his mom and dad in their bakery.
- Pumpkin Cake (( Filly )) - Goes to school with his brother, working with her mom and dad in their bakery.
- Silver Spoon (( Teenage Years )) - Runs away with Diamond Tiara to becoming a supermodel as well, though she isn't as favored as Diamond tiara, which causes her to becoming more spitefull twords her.
- Snips (( Teenage years )) - Eventually becomes a well known hair dresser, and an attractive one at that. Ponies from all over equestria come to snips to have their hair done.
- Twist (( Teenage Years )) - Runs a little candy shop in Ponyville.
- Snails (( Teenage Years )) - Runs a pet shop in Ponyville, him and Snips are no longer friends due to snips becoming popular, he ends up dating Twist.
- Dr.whooves - Travels with a new Companion, he had to wipe derpy's memories of him due to her absorbing some of the tardis. If he didn't the memories would of killed her, and he couldn't risk that. So no matter how much it pained him, he wiped her memories and left.
- Master - Travels with a companion of his own, going on adventures, though instead of repairing things, he creates havoc.
- Octavia - Ends up becoming a well known performer, which causes her to be away from her home and bestfriend/mate Vinyl, though she enjoys to play music, she has slowly become depressed, hating her new lifestyle and being away from her loved ones and constantly travelling around.
- Nurse Redheart - Ends up living with Screwy, in hopes to help her recover, she still works at the hospital though, and most of the time is worn down and exhausted by the end of the day.
- Screwy - Lives with Nurse Redheart. She is still mentally unstable, but is doing better then she was.
- Bonbon - Lives with her mate lyra, she runs a candy shop in ponyville.
